About Ellie and Kieron’s wedding at Hever Castle in Kent
I had the most amazing time photographing Ellie and Keron’s romantic fairytale wedding at Hever Castle in Kent. Let me tell you, it was straight out of a storybook! This place is absolutely stunning and full of history. The castle is set in 125 acres of picturesque Kent countryside, and it provided the most enchanting backdrop for the wedding ceremonies and receptions.
You know me, I specialise in a documentary style of wedding photography, and let me tell you, this venue was a dream come true for that. The expansive gardens and castle grounds offered so many opportunities for capturing those raw, non-posed, real moments that I love to focus on. I mean, every corner seemed like a movie set!
The ceremony itself was held at twilight, and let me just say, the evening light was absolutely magical. It created the most romantic atmosphere, and the photos turned out so dreamy. I could see the love and happiness in the couple's eyes as they exchanged vows and promised their forever to each other.
After the ceremony, it was time to let loose and celebrate! The evening was filled with laughter, drinks, dancing, and even some sparklers. It was such a joy capturing all those candid moments of pure happiness and celebration. I mean, who doesn't love sparklers, right?
Being able to document such a special day for real people, surrounded by this fairytale setting, was truly a dream come true for me as a photographer. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do so much. Capturing love stories and preserving memories is truly a privilege, and I'm grateful to have been a part of this beautiful wedding
