About Lauren and David’s wedding at Westernhanger Castle in Kent
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Lauren and David's wedding at Westernhanger Castle in Kent. This stunning venue is situated in 14 acres of beautiful countryside and is truly a fairytale dream wedding location with its romantic and regal atmosphere, complete with breathtaking ruins.
The day was filled with joy as everyone enjoyed live music and the wonderful surroundings. There were opportunities to explore the grounds and even play lawn games, adding an extra element of fun to the celebration. One unique touch that the couple added was setting up a retro sofa and chairs outside on the grounds for a fantastic photoshoot.
As a photographer, I specialize in a documentary style of wedding photography. This means that I focus on capturing raw, non-posed moments that truly reflect the genuine emotions of the day. I believe in preserving those real, candid moments that showcase the love and connection between real people.
Kent is a beautiful backdrop for any wedding, and Westernhanger Castle proved to be the perfect setting for Lauren and David's special day. The combination of the castle's grandeur and the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside created an enchanting ambience that made for stunning photographs.
I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to document this wedding and to be able to share these amazing moments with Lauren, David, and their loved ones. It was an honour to be a part of their unforgettable day at Westernhanger Castle in Kent.
